Viva Latino America 2016
The American Latino Committee proudly held the first Viva Latino America festival in the City of Lynn on July 30, 2016. With the desire to show that Latinos are part of the positive impact by promoting local businesses, cultural music, food and folkloric dancing, the ALC held the first Hispanic festival of its category on this date.
The ALC’s event was sponsored by local community members, businesses, churches and volunteers who said: “present.” With much thanks and appreciation we would like to thank them all!
Not only was the ALC honored to have the Consulate of Guatemala and El Salvador but also to have the Mayor of the City of Lynn, Chief of Police and many other community members, residents and non-residents of Lynn attend this amazing afternoon of appreciation of culture.
With the presence of Mexican, Guatemalan, Salvadorian, Costa Rican, Peruvian, Colombian, Dominican, Puerto Rican and Uruguayan people, to name a few, this first event launched the stance of diversity and culture of Latin American countries.
